Bio
Nick Foresman is a singer/songwriter who has been performing professionally
for over 20 years. Originally from the Detroit area, he was raised in
Traverse City and got his start playing in the local bars and clubs around East
Lansing while attending Michigan State University.
Nick has been a featured act in
many popular establishments around the state of Michigan and has performed nationally from Atlanta to Nashville to Los Angeles. Nick has performed with many popular regional acts like Domestic Problems as well as opening up for national acts including the Verve Pipe and Heart. While living in Nashville, TN Nick owned and ran Sonic Eden Digital Studios, which was a small recording studio located on
Music Row.
In January 2002, Nick released
his debut CD titled King of Nothing. It is a 10-song compilation of
original songs that has been described by some as "Counting Crows meets
Neil Young." It is available for purchase on this website, iTunes and Sonic Eden Records.com.
Nick is currently resides in Grand Rapids, MI where he still performs and runs his own recording studio and independent record label Sonic Eden Records. He hopes the studio and record label will
not only help to promote his own music but also allow him to work with
other talented artists.
